Privacy Policy

Effective: 2026-06-05

This Privacy Policy explains how More.is.More s.r.o. ("Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Meydn web app at app.meydn.com and the associated account portal at accounts.meydn.com (together, the "Service"). It is provided in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR").

Scope. This policy covers the web application and its accounts. The Meydn iOS app and the marketing pages on meydn.com are a separate product with their own Privacy Policy; that app runs fully offline and requires no account. Buying or using one product does not create an account or entitlement in the other.

The short version

  • The Meydn web app corrects architectural perspective in your browser. Your photographs are processed locally and are not uploaded to us.
  • To save your work across sessions and to unlock paid features, you create an account (email and a display name, or sign-in with Google). That is the personal data we hold.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. No analytics or advertising trackers.

1. Data Controller

The data controller for the personal data processed through the Service is:

  • Company name: More.is.More s.r.o.
  • IČO (Company ID): 05210275
  • DIČ (VAT ID): CZ05210275
  • Registered office: Pernerova 635/57, Karlín, 186 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic
  • Registered in: Commercial Register, Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File No. 260062
  • Contact: info@moreismore.cz

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as our processing does not meet the thresholds in Art. 37(1) GDPR. Enquiries are handled by the controller at the address above.

2. Your photographs stay in your browser

The core function of the Meydn web app — detecting lines and correcting perspective and lens distortion — runs entirely client-side, in your browser, using WebGL and an on-device neural model. The images you load are not transmitted to our servers, not stored by us, and not shared with any third party. Your edited rolls are kept in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on your own device. Clearing your browser storage deletes them.

3. Data we collect

3.1 Account data you provide

| Data | Examples | Why | |---|---|---| | Identity | Email address, display name | Create and secure your account, sign you in, contact you about the Service | | Federated identity (optional) | Google account email, name, profile identifier | Only if you choose "Sign in with Google" | | Authentication | Hashed password, session tokens | Keep your account secure and signed in |

3.2 Payment data

When you purchase a one-time credit package, the transaction is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment-method details directly; we never receive or store your full card number. We retain a Stripe customer identifier and a record of your purchases (amount, date, package, credit balance) to provide the Service and meet accounting obligations.

3.3 Technical data

Standard web-server logs record your IP address, timestamp, user agent, and the URL requested, for security and diagnostics. We set one essential session cookie (see the Cookie Policy).

We do not run analytics, advertising, or retargeting trackers.

4. Purposes and legal bases

| Purpose | Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR) | |---|---| | Provide the Service and your account | Performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) | | Process payments and keep accounting records | Contract — Art. 6(1)(b); legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) | | Secure the Service, prevent abuse, keep logs | Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) | | Send service emails (verification, password reset, receipts) | Contract — Art. 6(1)(b) |

We do not send marketing email without your separate consent.

5. Processors and recipients

We share personal data only with processors acting on our instructions, each under a data-processing agreement:

  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) — payment processing.
  • Postmark (transactional email delivery).
  • Google — only if you use "Sign in with Google" (federated authentication).
  • Hosting — our servers run on infrastructure located within the EU.

We do not sell personal data or share it with data brokers.

6. International transfers

Our hosting and primary processors are in the EU/EEA. Where a processor (for example, an email or authentication provider) processes data outside the EEA, that transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

7. Retention

  • Account data: for as long as your account exists, then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after closure.
  • Payment and accounting records: retained for the period required by Czech tax and accounting law (generally up to 10 years).
  • Server logs: 30 days.

8. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21). To exercise them, write to info@moreismore.cz. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.cz.

You can close your account at any time from the account portal, or by contacting us.

9. Cookies

The Service uses one strictly necessary session cookie and, during checkout, cookies set by Stripe. The full inventory is in the Cookie Policy.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 15 (the digital-consent age in the Czech Republic under the Art. 8(1) GDPR derogation). We do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our data handling changes or the law requires it. Material changes are marked by updating the version and effective date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
